Soup's On!





It's FALL! That means it's time for soup.


Starting with this recipe for Turkey and Squash Soup from Eating Well, I made a few, small changes:

- a can of chickpeas instead of the corn;

-a fresh jalepeno from our share instead of the red pepper flakes;

-shallots from the share instead of leeks.



I shared the soup with some co-workers who LOVED it--they all wanted the recipe!

Mmmm. I can't wait to make some soup. The recipe looks good! I've been making stir-fried dishes with chicken or turkey sausages, homemade pesto, and homemade tomato sauce. It's all so good! Next up is salsa, more tomato sauce, and more pesto. I love this!
