There is just something so beautiful with maters on the vine isn't there? Luckily your first experience will be with vine ripened ones. They are 1000% better than store bought.
Swansong, I think my tomato-dread is outweighing my beet-dread at this point! But like you said, at least I'll be starting with the best!
